The CDC’s no-sail order has expired. In its place is a 40-page framework that requires comprehensive testing and for cruise lines to obtain permission to bring ships into port communities.

Axios reports that the Trump administration instead plans to extend the order through October 31 of this year. That coincides with the planned end of a voluntary industry-wide suspension.
