The body of a 72-year-old man was found floating in Thomas Basin in Ketchikan on Sunday. Lieutenant Andy Berntson with the Ketchikan Police Department says they responded at roughly 10 a.m. to the report of a body in the water at the popular downtown harbor.
Berntson was unable to provide further information because the incident is actively being investigated. He said that the man’s family has been notified.
