Traffic was stopped in downtown Ketchikan for a little more than an hour today, due to a flipped car inside the Water Street tunnel.
Deputy police chief Eric Mattson said in an email that Ketchikan police found the Jeep lying on its side, blocking the tunnel. The car was driven by a 37-year-old female who, according to Mattson, did not report any physical injuries. Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
