Peter Amylon was elected President of the KRBD Board of Directors at their monthly meeting Wednesday night. Peter also serves as the Board’s representative to the CoastAlaska Board.
Leah Canfield was elected as Treasurer and Jai Mahtani and Jason House were reaffirmed as Vice President and Secretary respectively.
The Board also has new members. Tim Royer joined the Board in November and Shawn House and Bob Fultz were appointed to the Board at the most recent meeting January 3. The KRBD Board meets the first Wednesday night at 5:30 p.m. at the station.
CoastAlaska is a consortium of several stations, most in Southeast, that provide services like accounting, membership, and engineering. it was formed in the 1990s as a response to the loss of significant State revenue and has proven to be cost effective.
