Raegan has been with KRBD for just over a year, joining us as a Report for America corps member in 2022.
With Eric’s departure, Raegan has been our sole reporter for the past month and a half, and has basically been unofficially fulfilling the role of News Director for that time.
We’re happy to make it official, and announce that Raegan has been promoted to KRBD News Director as of June 16th!

That means we have an open reporter position to be filled.
Report for America was gracious enough to continue working with us through these staffing changes, so we are looking at bringing on another RFA corps member to fill Raegan’s previous position and beat – focusing on Alaska Native and Asian-American populations in Ketchikan as well as stories from Prince of Wales Island and Metlakatla.
