USFS archaeologist Michelle Gray will make a presentation, “A History of Ward Lake,” this Thursday at 6 p.m. at the UAS Ketchikan Campus Library. The presentation will also be lived streamed on the library’s Facebook Page. Gray will discuss it’s history at a recreation area, CCC, Aleut relocation camp during WWII and more. Gray invites the public to share their stories of what Ward Lake means to them as well as providing additional history.
