It’s looking less and less likely that large cruise ships will show up in Alaska’s ports this year. Even so, elected leaders are holding out hope — and working to remove legal barriers to the 2021 season. Alaska’s senators announced Friday that they’re filing a companion bill to Congressman Don Young’s legislation to offer a workaround to Canada’s cruise ship ban.
