The head of Ketchikan’s hospital will resign at the end of December.
Ed Freysinger, who’s served as chief administrative officer of the Ketchikan Medical Center since 2017, says he’s leaving to spend more time with his family in Oregon.
The announcement came Tuesday in a news release from PeaceHealth, the Catholic nonprofit which runs Ketchikan’s hospital system. A PeaceHealth spokesperson says the hospital expects to announce an interim leader in the coming days.
