Ketchikan’s school board meeting scheduled for Wednesday night has been moved back until next week. That’s because the board didn’t properly publicize the meeting in advance as required by law.
“It was just simply a mistake by administration of not getting that in the paper,” School Board President Matt Eisenhower explained. “Obviously, we want to make sure the community is notified properly and involved and able to come and give their input.”
The meeting will instead be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, September 18 in the Borough Assembly chambers.
