A 19-year-old woman from Minnesota is OK after a single-vehicle accident Monday near Mile 6.4 South Tongass Highway.
According to the online Alaska State Troopers dispatch report, the woman was northbound in a 2004 Jeep when she got distracted, lost control and drove off the roadway.
Troopers report that the Jeep went in and out of the northbound ditch for about 300 feet, and then came to rest against a rock wall.
South Tongass EMS responded.
The woman reported wearing her seatbelt and had no complaint of injuries. The Jeep sustained extensive damage.
