Two Ketchikan residents face felony drug charges related to a package of about 29 grams of methamphetamine.
According to the probable cause statement submitted Friday by Ketchikan Police Lt. Andy Berntson, the package was intercepted on its way to a residence in Ketchikan. Berntson writes that 39-year-old Sara Skan made multiple attempts to obtain the package.
According to the police statement, Skan told police that she helped 34-year-old Lawrence Edward Jones arrange for the package’s delivery. Jones also allegedly told police that he arranged for the shipment with Skan.
Both were charged with attempted second-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance. Jones also was charged with violating conditions of release from a previous criminal case.
