Alaska State Troopers on Prince of Wales Island have arrested one man and are looking for another. Troopers say both are connected to an early March burglary and assault at a Thorne Bay home.
According to the troopers’ online dispatch, they received a report at about 7:30 p.m. on March 3rd that two residents had been assaulted and injured during a home invasion.
Troopers say that initially it was unknown who the assailants were. Investigation led troopers to charge 30-year-old Luke Killian, and 29-year-old Trevor Killian, both of Thorne Bay, with first-degree burglary and fourth-degree assault.
Arrest warrants were issued for both men on March 11. Trevor Killian turned himself in at the Craig Police Department. Luke Killian is believed to be out of state. Anyone with information about his location is encouraged to contact Alaska State Troopers. Callers may remain anonymous.
