Alaska State Troopers on Prince of Wales Island are investigating a burglary from a home in Hydaburg.
According to the online troopers dispatch, a Hydaburg man reported on Friday that he had returned from a trip to find his apartment had been ransacked. The man reported more than $8,000 cash had been taken, along with a gold ring.
The “Alaska” ring has an image of a bear on the face and is a family heirloom, according to troopers.
