Alaska State Troopers are investigating a theft from a shop in the Old Homestead area off South Tongass Highway.
According to the online troopers dispatch report, the theft was reported on Wednesday. Someone broke into the shop sometime in the last six months and took tools and gasoline drums.
Estimated loss of property is $745.
