Alaska State Troopers are investigating a robbery Thursday morning in Hydaburg on Prince of Wales Island.
According to the Troopers online dispatch, an 83-year-old Hydaburg man reported at 5:30 a.m. that a stranger had entered his home and demanded his wallet.
The victim told Troopers that the unknown man had a crowbar. The suspect left with the homeowner’s cellphone and some clothing, according to Troopers.
The elder was not physically harmed during the robbery.
