Former Ketchikan resident Emily Moore is one of five recipients of the 2017 Wyeth Award.
The Wyeth Foundation for American Art has offered the annual grant award since 2005. It supports the publication of books on American Art.
The grant supports Moore’s book, For Future Generations: Tlingit, Haida, and American Art in Alaska’s New Deal Totem Parks, published by the University of Washington Press.
Moore is an art professor at Colorado State University.
