A Ketchikan man faces a misdemeanor charge of criminal mischief after passing out amongst some meat at a local grocery store last week.
According to the Ketchikan Police Department, a West End grocery store reported a man sleeping in the store at about 6:30 p.m. on Nov. 7th. Officers found the 54-year-old man passed out with his torso leaning into a meat display rack.
Police report that the man damaged multiple packages of meat. He also had an outstanding warrant. He was arrested and charged with fifth-degree criminal mischief – tampering with property.
