Alaska State Troopers are seeking information about a theft from a storage unit near Mile 7 North Tongass Highway.
According to the online dispatch report, Troopers were notified of the theft on Saturday. A lock on the storage unit had been cut and about $10,000 worth of items was taken.
The missing items include furniture, artwork, ammunition, taxidermy, and tools. Some of the more unique items are a Dall sheep shoulder mount, ceramic whale art, and a large amount of 22 long-rifle ammunition.
This case is under investigation and anyone with information is asked to call Alaska State Troopers in Ketchikan at 225-5118. Callers may remain anonymous.
