Traffic was delayed on Stedman Street and South Tongass Highway for more than an hour today, when a vehicle slid across the road and broke down a walkway railing adjacent to Trident Seafoods.
Ketchikan Deputy Police Chief Josh Dossett says a female driver lost control of her truck at about 11:00 am due to slick road conditions. He says the accident disabled the vehicle and a tow truck was called to remove it. The road was cleared by about 12:45 pm.
Dossett did not have any additional details by story deadline.
