Shore imagery project wins national award
Ed Schoenfeld
JUNEAU, ALASKA (2009-11-10) The Juneau-based ShoreZone program is nearly done photographing Southeast Alaska’s shoreline. The images and information are going into an online database for use during oil spills, marine rescues and waterfront planning. The effort will eventually include all of Alaska’s coast. ShoreZone just won a prestigious nationwide award for its work.
