State Education Commissioner Larry LeDoux talks with Wrangell High School students during a meet-and-greet at the Stikine Inn.
WRANGELL (2009-10-28) State Education Commissioner Larry LeDoux is letting everyone know that he is headstrong on improving Alaska's education system. One of the first things that he noticed when he took the job in 2008 was that state did not have a comprehensive plan. Since then, the former principal and superintendent from Kodiak has been working with officials on every level to develop such a plan. LeDoux discussed the plan with local educators and community members during a two-day visit to Wrangell. KSTK's Tony Gorman reports.
