KETCHIKAN, ALASKA (2009-12-23) The Ketchikan Gateway Borough Assembly on Monday rejected a proposal to partially fund a school-based police officer position. The assembly also voted to roll back the borough’s personal property tax and to move forward with a public vote on a new tobacco tax.
