KETCHIKAN, ALASKA (2009-11-04) The Ketchikan Gateway Borough is weighing its options for development or disposal of borough lands in Ward Cove. The borough had been hoping to sell a large portion of its remaining property in Ward Cove to the Alaska Marine Highway, but the state now says it does not want to purchase the land due to environmental concerns.
