A 20-year-old Ketchikan man faces charges of sexual abuse of a minor after allegedly having sex with a 14-year-old girl.
Alaska State Troopers say they received a report on Saturday that Brendon Lee Sample had sex with the underage girl on Jan. 7. Sample was arrested and taken to the Ketchikan Correctional Center. His first court appearance was Sunday on a charge of second-degree sexual abuse of a minor.
Sample’s next scheduled court hearing is 1 p.m. Jan. 21 in Ketchikan District Court.
